Research visit to KIOST in Korea

We had the opportunity to spend a week at the Korean Institute of Ocean Science and Technology (KIOST) in Busan, South Korea, with Professor Jae Seong Lee and his research team.

Professor Lee and his team curated an excellent program filled with a balance of scientific objectives and cultural experiences. Our activities included in-depth discussions on our ongoing work with eddy covariance technology, as well as a workshop focused on data processing and interpretation. We also had the privilege of delivering a seminar and a lecture to the KIOST community.

Beyond the academic exchange, we immersed ourselves in the local culture. We visited historic temples, savored a variety of local cuisines, explored cultural landmarks, and hiked through the stunning landscapes of Geumgang Park and Yonggungsa Temple.

We eagerly anticipate expanding our collaboration with Professor Lee and his team in the future and look forward to welcoming them to Denmark.
